Cat water fountains

Many cats prefer drinking moving water. The recirculating water fountain has an oval 3.2 litre tank, a side tap-style outlet and a window to check the level without opening it. It is the version with a European plug, to connect to a household socket.

When choosing, compare the tank capacity with the number of cats you have and how often you can change the water, and pick a stable spot away from the litter box and near a socket. Change the water and clean the fountain regularly, checking through the window that the level does not drop too low. If your cat is not used to it, place it next to the usual bowl for a few days until it starts using it on its own. A fountain does not replace your vet's advice if you notice changes in how your cat drinks.
